School Site Council

The SSC serves as the school's representative body for determining the focus of the school’s academic instructional program and all categorical funding.

 

The SSC’s primary responsibilities are:

  • Review the advice for improvement of the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
  • Develop and approve the SPSA and related expenditures per all federal, state, and District laws and regulations.
  • Review the plan's implementation on an ongoing basis with the principal, teachers, school staff members, and other stakeholders.
  • Review data and evaluate the progress made towards the school goals to raise the academic achievement of all students.
